WebJay Gill is known for his Detective Inspector Hardy series but the change in style in this new Henry Fleming was very clever writing. Set in the 1920s in the fictitious village of Fulbridge it is full of charm, despite a murder. Not quite Midsomer Murders, more Agatha Christie. I'm now onto the second in the series with a new one due out soon.
